Beale Park

"As a charitable organisation, Beale Park welcomes and appreciates the support and contribution made by those who work alongside us.  Whether it is in a voluntary capacity, through sponsorship or by partnering with us, their contribution really does make a difference.  Thank you."

Little Tikes

Little Tikes has been making active toys for children since 1969 and today continues to develop innovative, robust and durable toys products for the different stages of a child's development. All our toys encourage active play which in turn stimulates imagination.

Little Tikes is delighted to be working in close partnership with Beale Park, whose heritage and commitment to quality family entertainment is second to none. We are opening our second joint venture this spring - the Little Tikes Village - which will offer a fun safe place for young children to play. The Village will include various versions of our iconic Cozy Coupe car that children love so much, as well as different zones for different types of play. The children can get into their Cozy Coupe and drive to each zone in the Little Tikes Village -starting in the Garage, then onto the Village Green where all the playhouses are arranged around the green, the Sand Pit , Activity Gyms to play on the climbers and slides, onto the Sports area for some active Basketball practice, and then stop in the picnic area.

The Environment Agency

We are the Environment Agency. We look after your environment, making it a better place for you and for future generations. Our work includes looking after the River Thames, keeping it clean, healthy and safe and managing the complex balance between flood control, water supply and the needs of wildlife and visitors.

We look after 45 locks and weirs on the River Thames, each manned by a resident lock keeper. On this 135-mile stretch of river, which flows from the Cotswolds to the outskirts of London, we provide campsites, picnic areas, canoe portage points, angling platforms, boat moorings and work with businesses and local communities to promote boating and leisure for everyone. This year we are very pleased to be working with Beale Park and supporting the Beale Park Boat Show to encourage more people to get afloat.

Spiky Spook Design

Dale Smith of Spiky Spook Design in Tilehurst, Berkshire, joined Beale Park as volunteer, to gain work experience, in December 2009. Working alongside the marketing department, he created a dedicated children's area for the Park's new website which was launched in July 2010.

"Bertie's Fun Zone" is full of "puzzles & games, colouring and "make and do" activities; all designed and created for the Park's younger visitors, by Dale. He recently qualified with a BA in Product Design and Marketing from Southampton Solent University and has helped the Park considerably.

Donna Hatchett, Marketing Manager at Beale Park, says "The high standard and quality of Dale's work is quite remarkable. I was particularly impressed by the way in which he interrupted key elements of the Park, presenting them in away which will appeal to youngsters."
